Kurt Julius Goldstein, 87, and Peter Gingold,
85, began a class action in America in 2001,
but the case was thrown out by Judge Rosemary
Collier on the grounds that the government
cannot be held liable under the principle of
"state sovereignty".

Jan Lissmann, one of the lawyers for the
survivors, said: "President Bush withdrew
President Bill Clinton's signature from the
treaty [that founded the court] not only to
protect Americans, but also to protect
himself and his family."

Lissmann argues that genocide-related cases
are covered by international law, which does
hold governments accountable for their
actions. He claims the ruling was invalid as
no hearing took place."

Newsweek Polska, the magazine's Polish
edition, published a short piece on the "Bush
Nazi past" in its March 5, 2003 edition. The
item reported that "the Bush family reaped
rewards from the forced-labor prisoners in
the Auschwitz concentration camp," according
to a copyrighted English-language translation
from Scoop Media (www.scoop.co.nz). The story
also reported the seizure of the various
Bush-Harriman-Thyssen businesses.

Still Not Interested

Major U.S. media outlets, including ABC News,
NBC News, The New York Times, Washington
Post, Washington Times, Los Angeles Times and
Miami Herald, have repeatedly declined to
investigate the story when information
regarding discovery of the documents was
presented to them beginning Friday, August
29. Newsweek U.S. correspondent Michael
Isikoff, famous for his reporting of big
scoops during the Clinton-Lewinsky sexual
affair of the 1990s, declined twice to accept
an exclusive story based on the documents
from the archives.

Union Banking was seized by the government in
October 1942 under the Trading with the Enemy
Act.

No charges were brought against Union
Banking's U.S. directors. The government was
too busy trying to fight the war, said Donald
Goldstein, a professor of public and
international affairs at the University of
Pittsburgh.

"We did not have the resources to do these things," Goldstein said.

"Support for the Nazis was a Bush family
tradition which goes back more than six
decades and, once again, to Allen Dulles."

dominating figure in the American
establishment. . . . "The firm originally was
known as W. A. Harriman & Company. The link
between Harriman & Company's American
investors and Thyssen started in the 1920s,
through the Union Banking Corporation, which
began trading in 1924. In just one three-year
period, the Harriman firm sold more than $50
million of German bonds to American
investors. 'Bert' Walker was Union Banking's
president, and the firm was located in the
offices of Averill Harriman's company at 39
Broadway in New York. "In 1926 Bert Walker
did a favor for his new son-in-law, Prescott
Bush. It was the sort of favor families do to
help their children make a start in life, but
Prescott came to regret it bitterly. Walker
made Prescott vice president of
W. A. Harriman. The problem was that Walker's
specialty was companies that traded with
Germany. As Thyssen and the other German
industrialists consolidated Hitler's
political power in the 1930s, an American
financial connection was needed. According to
our sources, Union Banking became an
out-and-out Nazi money-laundering
machine. . . . "In [1931], Harriman & Company
merged with a British-American investment
company to become Brown Brothers, Harriman."'

With Reagan's reelection Bush was appointed
head of the Task Force for Combating
Terrorism. With this mandate Bush set a
course for further limiting congressional
oversight of the CIA. The big lie here was
that terrorism was declining in 1985, in fact
only 7 incidents of terrorism occurred in
1985 down from a high of 29 in 1980. Perhaps
the most grievous aspect of the task forces
recommendations was the redefining terrorism
as "political theater designed to undermine
or alter government authority or behavior."
In effect it was now a crime to think
differently than the government. The Boston
Tea Party would be described as terrorism
under this definition, so would have the
civil rights marches, the feminist movement
and the environmental movement.
If you don't think it's important that
Prescott Bush had four companies seized
including the Holland-American Trading
Corporation or the Seamless Steel
Equipment Association as well as the
Silesian-American Corporation, then you
are in denial. The fact is that
President Bush's family played a pivotal
part in financing Adolph Hitler's
takeover of Germany. Prescott Bush was a
legal front man for the Nazis and the
entire Bush fortune was built off of the
Hitler Project. The New York Tribune had
exposed Bush, whom it called
"Hitler's Angel."

The global disapproval of George Bush Jnr may
have to do with the Bush's Union Bank past,
whose profits derived, ultimately, from
laundering Thyssen Industrial war profits
which were, in part derived from Nazi slave /
death camp labor. Prescott Bush (George Bush
Snr's father) received a massive payoff from
German clients shortly after WW2 ended, and
used the money to go into politics, and so
began the Bush dynasty.

An Article on Nazis in
the U.S. in the 1960s

If one checks the historical record one finds
that the Union Banking Co. was established in
1924 to formalize an agreement between
Bonesman Averell Harriman and Fritz Thyssen,
German industrialist and author of I Paid
Hitler. Union Bank was more than just some
place to stow money but was anactive
participant in the rearming of Germany and
the financing of Naziism. Union Banking
Corporation was eventually seized by the US
Alien Property Custodian in October on 1942
under the Trading with the Enemy Act.

And there were many more Bonesmen involved
than just Prescott Bush. And much more
involvement in the financial affairs of
Germany and the Nazis. In 1933 there were
eight directors of Union Bank. Four were
members of Skull & Bones, classmates Roland
Harriman, Knight Woolley, Ellery Sedgewick
James and Prescott Bush.
Most of the records and correspondence of
Samuel Bush's arms- related section of the
government have been burned, "to save space"
in the National Archives.
